A bone-in ribeye is a thick, tender, and juicy cut of beef that comes from the rib of a cow. Also known as a cowboy steak. Bone-in ribeye steaks are known for their rich flavor, marbling, and tender texture. 

The Preparation:

Bone-in ribeye steaks can be cooked in a variety of ways, including on the grill, in the oven, on in the pan. The key is to achieve a good sear at a high temperature, and then allow the meat to rest so its internal temperature can continue to rise.

Common Dishes:

Traditionally served as a full steak, grilled or right out of the pan.

Salt & pepper, garlic & butter basted with herbs, rosemary or thyme.
